Impact Organizations of Nova Scotia helps build organizational capacity within the non-profit and voluntary sector. We also act as a non-partisan voice for the Community Sector, to help tell Nova Scotians about the contributions that the Community Sector makes to our province.
Our current priorities include increasing access to training opportunities, to help build capacity within the Community Sector, improving management and planning of human resources, developing strategies of attraction and retention of staff and volunteers, and fostering a sense of identity as a sector with an enhanced ability to work collaboratively and play a role in consultation and decision-making.
